My boyfriend & I truly feel like we could not have picked a better place to stay in Yosemite. Bette's home is beautiful & the location is perfect, but what made staying here special was the warmth, conversation, & hospitality. Thank you so much Bette & Eileen - we will certainly be back :)

Bette's B&B is wonderful quiet sanctuary away from the summer crowds of Yosemite and provides a wonderful way to begin and end each day. We had a basic idea of hikes and places to visit in Yosemite and Bette's experienced advice confirmed or added to each day's activities so that our visit felt perfect. We highly recommend staying here.

My Wife and I spent two nights with Bette and Ron in their warm and toasty cabin. We arrived late on a Friday night to a winter wonderland after weeks of constant snow and winter's fury. Bette waited up for us to arrive! To our delight, we not only enjoyed the hospitality and guidance for our planned weekend of snowshoeing to the Mariposa Redwoods grove but, we discovered what wonderful and insightful hosts Bette and Ron were. Our breakfast was award-winning and the morning discussions were warm and engaging. We made instant friends with Bette and Ron and have invited them to our home in the foothills near Sacramento. We've traveled the world and always enjoy the discovery of both a new place but also meeting new people that enrich the travel experience to a much more meaningful level. I recommend that you come here for an experience that will be more than you expected. Outstanding!

We really enjoyed our short stay with Bette and Ron. We instantly felt like family and sat by a warm fire Ron made for us one evening.
Bette is well versed in the area and certainly can offer some valuable tips.
Breakfast was lovely, and enabled us to go into the valley well nourished!

We would certainly come back and stay should we visit Yosemite again. Otherwise, see you in Australia guys!

Wonderful stay at Bette's Yosemite BnB!  We have stayed at many bed and breakfast facilities and inns in the US and Europe and found Bette's BNB to be THE BEST!  The bubble suite was spacious and comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and healthy, and the setting in Fish Camp was lovely. Bette was a gracious and thoughtful hostess. She provided us with very detailed and accurate information about hikes and scenic locations to see in the Yosemite park.  We loved every minute of our special evening at Sentinel Dome - thank again Bette!

Bette was the sweetest host. She made a delicious breakfast each morning, gave great hiking tips, and really made me feel at home. The suite I stayed in was perfect--comfy bed, pretty view, and my own large bathroom. Location was great too--couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a few nights and enjoy Yosemite!

Bette was such an amazing host. The place was perfect with a private entrance and all the amenities needed to make it feel like a suite in the middle of the forest. Breakfast was superb. Bette also helped us get around for the day at Yosemite. She is very enjoyable to talk to. Mattress can be updated, but other than that a wonderful stay.

Bette was a fantastic host!! Location: Her B&B was very convenient, located just 2 miles from the South Gate of Yosemite - as close as you can get without staying in the park. There was also a deli just down the street, which made packing lunch for day hikes super easy. Service: This is Bette’s bread & butter. She was incredibly personable - she shared recommendations for hikes/sightseeing and also had menus available for a few of her favorite restaurants in the area. We loved hearing stories of her adventures during breakfast, which was incredible (kudos to Bette’s cooking). Each morning Bette had a wonderful breakfast spread to help us start our day. Room: We stayed in the bubble suite, which was incredibly spacious and well appointed. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay at Bette’s again on a future visit to Yosemite.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at Bette's Yosemite B&B. We stayed for a total of 4 nights, we could have stayed longer. Bette was an incredible host - she cooked a fab breakfast for us in the mornings in addition to having a fruit, yogurt & granola spread - everything was delicious! Great coffee too! We stayed in the Bubble room and had our own private living room and bathroom. The place was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the view out the bubble was lovely - the bubble is much larger in real life! The walls throughout were adorned with photographs of Yosemite taken by Bette's husband Ron - a lovely touch . Bette was very knowledgable about Yosemite and offered us a lot of advice on hikes, itinerary etc. Bette also let us borrow some maps and info on Yosemite to help guide and inform us. We were very sad to leave and hope we will be back some day. Thank you Bette & Ron!

 

It was an incredible stay at Bette’s B’n’B. Great hospitality, wonderful insight into the area, and all around lovely person with a generous spirit and a tasty breakfast. Bette made us feel warm and welcomed and was great at getting back with us in our last minute requests. Would highly recommend!

Bette’s is the best accommodation available within a 200 mi radius of Yosemite! Bette is very friendly, the house is amazing, she is very helpful with local tips and helping navigate Yosemite. My fiancée and I first got engaged in the park and plan on staying at Bette’s in the sentinel room every year for our anniversary.

Great location with a great host! Bette made a great home cooked breakfast and was super accommodating with our tight schedule to have breakfast ready when we needed. She is so kind and welcoming and it was fun to have other guests to dine with in the morning also staying in her place. Great privacy, lounge area and porch. Bette is very welcoming, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the park, so if you need any tips just ask! The house is a beautiful place, full of Bette's husband’s expert photography. The shower for the ground floor room is wonderful; just what you need after a long day. Breakfast is healthy and filling and she'll even pack you up some leftovers for your hike if you need! There's a local store where you can get supplies and it's a short (less than an hour), beautiful drive into the valley and other key spots.

We stayed four nights at the end of September. Bette and Ron are very knowledge on Yosemite. It was privilege to hear their tales in over the years. Ron climbed Half Dome twenty times! He also showed us his amazing pictures over the years. They also invited us to watch Super Moon with their hiking group. It was a memorable experience. Bubble suite is a spacious room. Bette checked with us frequently to make sure we have everything. Breakfast was yummy. I would definitely come back!

We stayed for 4 nights with Bette and Ron in Fish camp which is an ideal location for exploring Yosemite. They are perfect hosts and lovely people. The bubble room is wonderful,it was good to wake up to a view out to the forest each morning. The accommodation was outstanding with a separate sitting room and spacious bathroom.  Bette provided a super breakfast and couldn't have been more attentive to our needs. Their knowledge and enthusiasm for Yosemite was infectious and their advice on how to make the most of our visit was much appreciated. Ron's suggestion to take a hike up Sentinel Dome where you have a 360 degree view of the park was perfect and we enjoyed the stunning scenery from there. We enjoyed getting to know this lovely couple sitting round Ron's log fire in the evening. Thank you both for being such perfect hosts and for a memorable stay. On leaving Bette said that we had arrived as guests and left as friends, this was reciprocated. We would highly recommend Bette's B&B to anyone looking to enjoy a Yosemite visit.

Bette (and Ron) have been by far the best AirBnB hosts that I've experienced thus far. From the day of arrival, when she made herself available for an earlier-than-expected check-in, to thoughtful daily breakfasts, to spending time going over our planned Yosemite itinerary, to accompanying us on a hike, Bette's personal touches have greatly enhanced the entire experience. The Bubble Room and adjacent bathroom were spacious, clean, homey, and pleasant. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone going to Yosemite!

I love Bette.... She's a super mom. Super host... We had a wonderful stay at the bubble room. The view was awesome and we secretly wished to see a bear from the room..... Bette's house is perfectly located just outside the gate of the Yosemite park. And boy it's an awesome house. Clean, tidy, comfortable, warm and so homey.... You'd wished you live there.... Bette welcomed us when we arrive and introduced us to her husband. She recommended a perfect schedule for us on where to go and what to see in the park which actually maximises our short stay. Breakfast was nice and coffee- wonderful. She even made dessert with ice cream for her guests one evening while we share the days' adventure.... We had a wonderful awesome and comfortable stay in her home..... We will be back- it's a promise...... Thank you Bette for welcoming us in your home....

Bette and Ron made us very welcome and "bubble room" we had was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful woodland view from the unique bubble window. Bette was very knowledgeable on the area and further afield, which helped greatly as we only had two days to see as much of Yosemite as we could. Fish Camp is a just small town with a couple of good eating places within a couple of miles. Bette did a lovely cooked breakfast each morning, along with more good conversation and advice. The house is only 3 miles from the entrance to Yosemite. It is then 35 miles to Yosemite village, but every inch is breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Bette and highly recommend if you are looking for a restful evening after trekking in the park. Then sit on the swing seat on the porch and talk of the Bears, Eagles, waterfalls and awesome views of half dome. Thanks again Bette and Ron

Bette is lovely! I received with affection making me feel at ease from the arrival. The description of the house and bedroom with den and private bathroom corresponded exactly to what was announced, with spacious and very comfortable. Very helpful, Bette gave me guidance and valuable tips to make the most of a visit to Yosemite. I loved it and recommend it!  We had great conversations with Bette over the park and about life! I felt very comfortable, it was like coming home after hiking in the park.
